In the two years it took to finally release the film, I took quite a few photos on my phone at various stages. Production started in August of 2009, continued in May of 2010, and post production ranged from Fall of 2009 to Spring of 2011. Here is a small selection of photos from my phone.

After two exhaustively long years, “Desolation Wilderness” is now available to be seen online. It will stay on the Vimeo account for the duration of the week and be taken off on October 31st. Please watch and leave feedback, if you’d like, and spread it to others.

Music from the Motion Picture: Desolation Wilderness is a 26 track compilation of music used within the film. Selections include (the incomparable) Jason Aud‘s entire score — including original works, songs by Jason the Swamp, and sprawling soundscapes — plus songs by WHY?, Desolation Wilderness, LAKE, and Karl Blau. Encoded in 320kbps for the highest quality, it clocks in at just under two hours of a sometimes-relaxing, sometimes-harrowing audio escape.

A lost sitcom from 1991 that was implemented in some fashion in the movie, “Desolation Wilderness.” Not much of this show seems to exist, but this clip was salvaged.
