The Nightmare Door (1981)

“The Nightmare Door (also known as Nightmares in the Attic and Bloody Door) is a 1981 psychological horror/mystery/slasher/exploitation film directed by genre-filmmaker, Ben Von Engeln. The film is known for having been branded a video nasty. The version that can be purchased in Canada and the UK is edited, featuring alterations in death scenes involving a stabbing, a throat slashing and the closeup shot of a decapitation. The film is not currently available for sale in the United States.”
A sample of Charles Goodwyn’s 1981 score, specifically “Alice’s Theme,” was used by Jason Aud & Robby Massey in creating the score for ‘Desolation Wilderness.’
